The Florida State Fair starts today. Enjoy the fried Oreos and fried mashed potatoes and gravy. Also, enjoy the rides like the Zipper, the Sizzler or the Tilt-A-Whirl. According to one source, wooden roller coasters cause the most injuries. The majority of injuries was neck and back related and more injuries happened to riders sitting towards the rear of the ride. The accident happened as the gondola was ascending to its drop position at the top of the tower.
