With the recent implementation of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and the Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002, effective plant security measures are a high priority, now more than ever. Don Hsieh, director of commercial and industrial marketing of ADT Business Solutions and Richard Evans, manager, business development of Proximex recently spoke with Food Engineering magazine to discuss concerns regarding security in food manufacturing facilities.
