OAKLAND, Calif., Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Stephen Curry and David Lee combined for 42 points Saturday and Golden State ended a successful December with a 101-83 defeat of Boston.
Curry pumped in 22 points and handed out nine assists. Lee popped in 20 points.
Harrison Barnes chipped in with 15 points and eight rebounds as the Warriors logged their third straight triumph and improved to 21-10 overall and recorded their first 12-win month since March 1976.
Courtney Lee -- subbing for injured point guard Rajon Rondo (bruised hip) -- scored 18 points for the struggling Celtics, who fell for the sixth time in eight contests.
Paul Pierce and Jason Terry contributed 13 points apiece for Boston.
