Already coming under fire for the Halloween costume she donned on Friday night, "Safe Haven" star Julianne Hough launched an apology on twitter today (October 26) for the colors she sported.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, the 25-year-old tied up her hair in the "Orange is the New Black" character's signature knotty coiffure. She also used some sort of spray-tan on her face and neck to darken her skin, and sported a prison ID, named "Crazy Eyes."
Her tweet read, "I am a huge fan of the show 'Orange is the New Black,' actress Uzo Aduba, and the character she has created. It certainly was never my intention to be disrespectful or demeaning to anyone in any way. I realize my costume hurt and offended people and I truly apologize."
Do you think Julianne's Halloween dress up suit was so offensive that it warranted an apology? Take a look at the photos, and send us your responses on our Facebook and tweet us at @GossipCenter!
