Chrome browser for iPad and iPhone rockets to the top of the charts

Google just released its Chrome browser for the iPad and iPhone yesterday at the 2012 Google I/O developers' conference, and already, its an unqualified hit. Already, the app has reached the number one slot on the "free" section of the Apple App Store.

We don't know exactly how many people downloaded Chrome, exactly, but in less than 24 hours, the browser has already garnered 4,400 ratings on the App Store, an overwhelming number of which are positive. The newly offered browser boasts the ability to sync your bookmarks and tabs with your desktop version of Chrome, and a snazzy user interface to boot.
